Gunter Schopfer

Diagnosed in 2017 at age 41

Gunter Schopfer was diagnosed with ALS in May 2017 at age 41.  He had severe weakness, constant fasciculations, and atrophy of his back, shoulder, arms and hands. In July 2017 after losing all hope, Gunter was referred to Amy, a biochemist who analyzed his labs and suggested amino acid muscle injections, peptides and myostatin inhibitors to avoid more muscle waste. He also explored out-of-the-box healing methods with spiritual healers and alternative practitioners. Mostly he made a complete lifestyle change from success-driven to reflective. After eight months it appeared the muscle deterioration was halted but he was still down to bones in his right shoulder and arms with no strength. He had trouble even walking ten feet and had to lie down for 30 min to get dressed. When the biochemist added NAD IV infusions to his protocol, this, added to the rest of his program seemed to make a difference. Today Gunter is almost completely back to normal mobility activities. The physical protocols are helping, yet he says "98% of his healing is due to changing his thinking". Without a change in thinking the IV's, injections and other protocols could not work. Gunter is committed to share his healing story so that others diagnosed with ALS will benefit and heal.
