Dr. Richard Bedlack graduated in 1995 from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine with an M.D. and PhD in Neuroscience, followed by his medical internship and neurological residency at Duke University. It was then he decided to pursue ALS as his life’s work. In 2000, he obtained his neuromuscular fellowship and master’s degree in clinical research. In 2001, Dr. Bedlack opened the Duke ALS Clinic in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Bedlack came across his first ALS reversal in 2011.
